Creepiest. Babies. Ever.

Prepare yourself for the weirdest, freakiest babies you’ve ever seen. Note their expressionless faces, their soulless eyes. Note their uncanny ability to sing like old pros while still unable to speak intelligibly. This is the devil’s handiwork, I tell you. We’re still asking why? Why did our eyes have to see this?

Okay, okay, I confess. The freakishly talented Stepford Babies are the result of some seriously low-tech trickery. They came to us on a benign looking videotape called Singing Babies, given to my son by a friend. We like to put it on for company and pretend there’s nothing unusual about it.

Kitty Said What?

I am, admittedly, easily amused. Regardless, this video is so dang cuuuuuute and it’s kid-friendly, too, so gather up the rugrats and be prepared to hit “replay” A LOT.

(After I watched this a frillion and one times, I stumbled across some other stuff on Youtube that I found incredibly disturbing but frankly, I can’t bear to despoil the awesomely awesome cuteness of teh kittehs right now. I’ll write about it later this week and maybe we can shake things up a bit, yes?)

Never Trust Your Eyes Again

Many times in the past I’ve shown you the power of Photoshop being used in ways that likely contribute, at least in part, to the body image issues that most women suffer from.

Well, in the continued interest of pulling back the curtain so we can all stop comparing ourselves to things that aren’t even real, I once again bring you a video that will blow your fracking mind!

But be warned, it’s not 100% work/kid safe. If you can’t watch it now, come back and watch it when you can and prepare to be amazed. The person behind this has some serious skillz!

Good Vibrations

Funniest thing I’ve seen all day is this IKEA commercial that they’re not allowed to show here in the states.

Ha! Funny, right? You can see the rest of the IKEA commercials here.

Also, over at Props and Pans we’re giving away an awesome Rocketfish Twister Wireless Laser Notebook Mouse. These things are way cool (I’m using mine RIGHT NOW) and a lucky reader is going to score one. Jet on over there to get the details!

Children See

If this doesn’t make you stop and reflect, then nothing will.

It’s just…wow. Very thought-provoking.

Thanks to Apryl.
