I can’t believe it’s been six years. Six years from what, you ask?
Six years since we threw the first party that would later become what’s now known as The People’s Party!
It started in Chicago as an open party at the bar at the top of the hotel where all the BlogHer 07 Conference attendees were staying. Everyone got a couple free drinks and if the photos are any indication, a really good time was had by all.
Over the years, that party grew in size and scale and for a few years, has been the official opening party of of the annual BlogHer conference but the one thing that has never changed is that it’s a party for everyone attending the conference!
There is no velvet rope, no VIP list, no secret handshake and no cost to attend!
Well, we’re throwing another party this year with our co-host and sponsor, BlogHer Conferences, and it’s right there at the hotel so no walking, cabbing or driving is necessary and as always, our doors are open to all.
You can expect a fun, laid back atmosphere for everyone to hang out, enjoy some good (free!) food and drinks, shake your booty, see old friends, make new ones and and most important of all…relax and blow off a little steam the night before the conference begins.
If you’re going to BlogHer 12 in New York City, we hope you’ll drop by and by all means, introduce yourselves to us (below) if we haven’t met!

yeah!
Hey Mag! Can’t wait to see you!
Can you come to the party even if you aren’t attending the conference?
I’m broke, but I’m local!
Unfortunately, I think you have to have a registration badge :(
Sadly, real life has gotten in the way and I won’t be attending Blogher after all but I hope all that do will check out The People’s Party and have a great time at the conference!
I enjoyed every little bit part of it and I will be waiting for the new updates.Thanks. I am very much impressed from your post.
