I couldn't (and didn't) wait for those 6 weeks to pass after childbirth before reconnecting with my husband. Maybe it had to do with my age? I was 19 when my first was born (I was 18 when we married). Our children are grown now (23 and 21), and we have always been and are still extremely active. Of course I'm only 42 now, so still quite young! Becoming a mother didn’t change my sex life at all!!!
