I know how you feel, Mr. President. I’m pretty fricken stoked, too.
I really wanted to write something thought-provoking and heartfelt about today but really, it’s all been said already—by every talking head on TV, by every person interviewed and all over the internet. So…I’m just going to keep it short and sweet and say that I’m trés excited and hopeful and extremely proud of our country today.
How can something bad feel so good? (crushing here as well) But, I think the First Lady could kick my butt, so I’ll behave.
If crushing on the Prez is wrong…I don’t wanna be right :)

My daughter is in kindergarten and learned all about Obama so I had the innaguration stuff on while she had a play date here on Tuesday and her and her friend were all “I love Obama, he is so cute – you’re going to marry him and be his girl friend” and they were giggling and blushing and it was too funny. So the 5 and 6 year old set agrees with you!
