Good Vibrations

Funniest thing I’ve seen all day is this IKEA commercial that they’re not allowed to show here in the states.

Ha! Funny, right? You can see the rest of the IKEA commercials here.

Also, over at Props and Pans we’re giving away an awesome Rocketfish Twister Wireless Laser Notebook Mouse. These things are way cool (I’m using mine RIGHT NOW) and a lucky reader is going to score one. Jet on over there to get the details!

We Americans don’t mind movies or shows with a lot of violence, but we’re still very provincial when it comes to suggestions of sex. Too bad, because these were funny.

I totally don’t understand that. I mean I’m not in favor of anything sleazy but this was a cute commercial. I can’t see how this would be more offensive than the obscene amount of violence that can be found on TV 24 hours a day.

    that commercial is great.

about 5 months ago on the cover of the ikea catalogue there was a picture of a dog on a bed, and right where his unit was there was a picture of a dildo. no joke.

it seemed to be there purely to be funny.

i think they stopped printing it shortly after people started noticing it.

I suppose, like most women, i suppose ikea just likes dildos.

    ha.

We almost never have Ikea commercials in my area, anyway. But that was hysterical. Made my morning.

    ROFLMAO.

Isn’t it amazing for a Country that ‘prides’ itself on it’s Freedom of Speech, just how censored we are?

Of course, I say that, but I know full well that If my 8yr old had seen it and asked me about it I would have been upset. Or had I been sitting next to my grandpa. OMG, I would have turned about 15 shades of red! He, however, would have just laughed.

    Thanks for the great video!

I went and watched all the other one, they were great. I would watch TV more often if the commerical were that entertaining.

Yup. Just like I was saying on your Bratz thread… I just don’t get the sexualization of kids yet the moratorium on it for adults.

    That commercial is AWESOME.

Okay, I LOVE that! My son watched it over my shoulder and said “that’s the funniest commercial ever”. Um what??! Why!?!? “I don’t know it just seems really funny.”
