I, however, in my four years of expertise, knew that it was overtiredness, and I think the most I tossed out there was a bunch of "hush now, let's be polite there are other people around"......since it was a losing battle. The parents who have zero control and even less common sense. Besides, I don't care if it's noon, if you're hollering at your kids - it's bad enough when done at home, but in public no less - you sound like an asshole! AMEN, Izzy! UGH! I've noticed the same thing and wondered the same. I think it's pure torture when parents keep their kids up too late. I have likened it to almost child abuse. I hate seeing kids out late at night when they should be in bed. This is why I've been taking Pumpkinpie to daycare even though I've been off his week - so I can do all my Christmas stuff without dragging her around. I keep wondering if that is a bad parent thing to do, but she stays home with me for a few hours in the morning and gets to go in late, then I get to do what I need to do.
