One Year and Many Bodily Fluids Later
It’s my one year blog anniversary this week and after taking a dive through the archives, it appears that I’ve come full circle!
It’s really weird! Not quite the same week as this last year, but pretty darn close, my cat had an abscess, my son was projectile vomiting all over the place and my daughter had lost her first tooth (awww!) This year?
SAME THING!
Cat with abscess? Check!
Son spewing vomit? Check!
Daughter loses tooth? Check! (Unlike the previous two, this is a happy event)
The only major difference is that this year, thankfully, the turd pudding is in a diaper instead of on my bedroom floor.
I guess it’s really true. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I had no idea I would be this involved in blogging but I’m so glad to still be here! It’s been a lot of fun :)
Happy First Anniversary, Blog!

I guess it’s a case of the more things change, the more things stay the same. And you would never have known that unless you had documented it in print! Seriously, if those are the only things that have happened, and nothing more serious has descended on your life, then you can consider yourself luck. At least you know your kids will (eventually) outgrow projectile vomiting and tooth-loosing. The cat, I don’t know…
Congratulations! I think you rock! Keep up the great posting!
Hope the cat and kid feel better soon.
I know what you mean, Iz. Sometimes, it seems like we’re all living a bad version of “Groundhog Day.”
Happy blog birthday!
Happy Blog Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary Izzy Girl!!!!
Happy Blog Anniversary. Who would have thought that you only have done this for a year?
Oh, and my best wishes for all of you, cat included.
God have mercy, I really hope I don’t have to repeat my year…Too much damn pain.
But I’m looking forward to your next year! Happy bloggy anniversary!
Good for you. And I hope your son and the kitty feel better soon.
Happy happy! Well, except for the vomit and the abcess. And the loose teeth would make me squirm a bit too.
But I’m so glad to know you! Happy blog-a-versary.
Happy blogiversary.
Happy Blogiversary……..Glad your still posting!!! =o)
Turd pudding!? Bleck! LOL.
Happy Blogiversary Dahlink!
Happy anniversary to you!!! I’m sure glad you’re here.
Turd pudding. Now there’s a pleasant thought for celebrating your anniversary!
Happy One Year Blogging! It’s my pleasure to “read” you.
Happy Anniversary Beyotch. I love your guts. :)
happy blogiversary (my second favorite new word…the first is philiminated…but that’s only funny if you watch the amazing race…)
Happy Bloggiversary!!
Happy Anniversary! I remember we started blogging around the same time; my blogoversary passed a few weeks ago, but I marked it the way I celebrated my recent 3-year wedding anniversary. By eating too much and watching television.
Oooh, that’s creepy. But congratulations!
1 year in internet blog land is a dog-like 7 real years or so. In a space with so little permenance, your blog is a nice example to follow. I am about 6 months in, myself. 1/2 birthday anyone?
Sorry about the vomting and the absess….
On a happier note, congrats on making it for one year!!!!
I have enjoyed reading your stories. :)
Happy anniversary to you, your blog, your son’s vomit, your cat’s abcess and the tooth fairy! I hope the air clears soon at your house. Poor kiddies.
I’m so glad you started blogging — and that you visited my blog… Congrats, Izzy!
Whoo-hoo! Congrats on reaching the milestone!
Is there cake? Feels like there should be cake…
Happy Anniversary Izzy. Maybe next year the turd pudding will even be in a potty!!
Happy Anniversary! Can’t wait to see flashback and see if things change or not next year!
Happy Blogiversary!
I have been blogging for about 6 months now, and I am completely addicted! I look forward to whatever small time I can steal away for myself. It is nice to know that there are other people out there that are experiencing the same things you are…..almost like an online support group! Enjoyed your blog!
Happy Happy Happy Blog-o-versary! I’m so very glad you’re out there writing and reading and doing your thing.
Happy Blogaversary!!
Happy Blog Birthday Izzy!
Hey, CONGRATULATIONS. That is big. (BAKES CAKE AND PUTS ONE CANDLE IN IT FOR BLOG). I think you get to make a wish on this occasion….
I think it is funny to go back and look at what was happening when. Ah, the circle of life.

Happy anniversary and many happy returns! Returns to abcesses and vomit not included.
Wow, huge Izzy. Big congrats. It’s funny, I always thought you had been blogging for years. You just seem so…accopmplished!
Happy Anniversary, Izzy!

Blogtini’s raised ~ Cheers to you! The web is better place with you in it.
When things change yet remain the same, it is oddly comforting.

Happy One Year!
By the way, some really excellent thoughts in your “When is my day off!” post. Thanks!
It’s interesting - you, Kristin (Motherhood Uncensored) and I all started about the same time…is that how we found each other? I can’t even remember.
Congratulations. I think you have been a fabulous success.
I remember when we “met”.
You commented on my smelly balls story and I went to your blog and realized I’d found a total gem!!!
The rest is history :)
Cheers and here’s to many more. The blogosphere is a better place because of you.
Happy Blogiversary, Betch! Getcha some new shoes.
You’ve only been blogging a year? Seems like a lot longer! One thing I love about the blog is the ability to see exactly what was happening this time the year before. Like writing your own history.
